DogWatch Hidden Fences wanted to integrate social media into their marketing efforts to increase brand awareness of their hidden fences and containment products for dogs and cats.
By monitoring and evaluating competitor activities in the underground dog fence industry and evaluating their current marketing programs, we developed strategic plan that includes developing social media guidelines, setting up a company Wordopress blog (www.blog.dogwatch.com), developed a content strategy and editorial calendar, and created profiles on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. In early 2010, we presented social media trainings at the Annual Dealer meeting to about 170 DogWatch Dealers.
